There are many memories for me wrapped up around this pretty calle in the Dorsoduro. Years ago, when we first began to visit Venice, the neighborhood drew us in. It was close to the hotel and apartment we'd stay in and the sunny Zattere. The bars, ristorantes, shops, and museums nearby kept us occupied. Many cold wintry days, we'd hardly leave the area, often stopping at the bar that used to be on the corner, where the amusing Gino would serve you himself.
